Constipation Relief with a Morning Smoothie, Because the colon has become weak, chronic constipation can be difficult to stop or eliminate. It will need to be retrained on how to have a bowel movement in the majority of cases.

Here’s a morning smoothie to help activate your intestines if you’re suffering from minor constipation. This smoothie is high in nutrients that your body will use to help your intestines and body heal.

For a few years, I’ve been making this smoothie. I make enough to drink immediately and keep in my thermos until 10 a.m.

  • 1 peeled banana * 4-5 strawberries or other berries or fruits * 1 tablespoon lecithin granules * 1–2 teaspoons flax seed oil * almond milk and apple juice half and half  
  • Grin the following ingredients in a coffee grinder to about a teaspoon or less:  
  • Lecithin, vitamin C, vitamin E, and calcium are abundant in brown sesame seeds. They help with constipation and enhance liver function.  
  • Sunflower seeds include a lot of protein, calcium, and iron. They’re one of the best natural foods for nourishing the whole body.  
  • Flax seeds are rich in fibre and bulk for your stools.  
  • Almonds (about 6-7 or more) They’re high in calcium and phosphorus, and they’re also high in B vitamins. Eat only a few. They are calorie-dense.   

I don’t measure anything when I make this drink; I just start throwing things in the blender. You can follow the same steps and make changes as needed.

Place the seeds in the blender after they have been ground, and blend for 3–4 minutes. If you need a little sweetness, a small bit of honey can be used. This drink is quite sweet without the honey, in my opinion.

I occasionally mix in the powder from a few acidophilus tablets.

If I don’t add the almonds, I just throw all of the little seeds into the blender whole, unground. They’ll be broken up in the blender.


This is a potent smoothie that will boost your morning energy and start your colon flowing.
